This e liquid has quite a reputation, and was responsible for B-Juice’s initial success as a new juice producer back in 2014.
The blend of tobaccos is more distinctive and nuanced than the original, and we’ve added several other elements to complimant the local Buckfast honey, which in this initial batch is from the apiaries at Outer Finches, in Buckfast. All our honey will be sourced from local independent beekeepers at source, and we’ll be profiling them, their hives and environs in more detail with each batch.
There is no honey flavouring in the juice, only natural unprocessed honey and the flavour is outstanding, and will vary slightly from one season to the next and from one hive to the next, depending on the prodominant food source of the swarm. Lavender and heather, gorse, all grow prolifically in the area, and there’s a real floral element to local Buckfast honey.
Honey can contain trace elements of acetoin, even diacetyl, but at the concentration used (honey accounts for 25% of all the flavourings in the juice, but only 2.5% of the finished juice) we believe the risks are negligible. We are making arrangements for GCMS testing of this batch, and will continue to test subsequent batches if there are concerns. The honeys containing naturally occurring diacetyl tend to come from areas where eucalyptus is the predominant source of pollens.
If you are at all concerned about the potential for harm presented by the possible traces of these compounds, please wait for GCMS results, or choose another flavour.
